World Marbles Federation has been founded in 2013 by five members of the management of the Czech Marbles Federation and Slovak Federation Of Marbles Players. Some of the founders have experience with establishing a national marbles federation. All of them have many years of experience with the management of their national marbles federations and are prepared to share them with interested persons from all over the world.

World Marbles Federation has been established in order to promote the idea of international marbles tournaments and coordinate the events like World Marbles Championship. It approves the international marbles rules, appoints the organizers of the World Marbles Championship and continental championship, approves members from new countries, and most importantly, provides support for those who decide to establish and run a national marbles federation in their countries.
